LOGITECH G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 DEX
This was hands down the smoothest project I've ever been on; almost too smooth. The crew at Los York put together an absolute dream team for this spot. We jammed seamlessly from design, into previs, and straight into animation. The flow was absolutely unstoppable! I have to give a major shout out to Casey Hupke, Cian McKenna, and Rudy Taege for establishing such a fun creative playground for me to just play in. Particles is always a passion of mine so I was estatic when they tasked me with those shots. For this project, I really wanted to push the finer details that help push the work outside of your typical particle FUI look, but also give it some amount of tangible feeling. By instancing cubes on points and adding subtle variations on size and light intensity, we were able to achieve this. On the animation front, I took some cues from 3D printing and glitch art to see how we could meld them together in this fantastical space. This was really easily achievable by using the always handy MOPs and feeding it into an attribute noise to stetch the position of points by a designating axis. I'm really stoked with how the whole project came together!
Created with Houdini, Redshift, and After Effects.
